THE APOCALYPSE CHRONICLES

Written by Nathan Ludwig & Charles Devin Hill

Feature / 102 pgs. / Horror Anthology

Logline: A wounded drifter struggles to remember who he really is while three mysterious madmen force him to play a sinister game of chance as they tell twisted tales of death, betrayal and insanity.

Synopsis: The Apocalypse Chronicles is a dark horror anthology that takes place after the end of the world. The connecting wraparound story concerns an unnamed wounded drifter who stumbles into a strange bar populated by a creepy bartender and three mysterious madmen determined to make the stranger remember who he is or kill him if he can't recall anything. Or maybe it's the other way around?

The first tale is an unsettling story of an elderly widower suffering from a recurring nightmare about his daughter's death. His fears become a frightening reality when she disappears for real. As he begins a lonely search for her whereabouts, a terrible realization dawns on him that someone or something is watching him, following his every step just out of sight.

Our second story details the daily duties of a hermit caretaker and his godson as they look after the lost dead and battle the forces of evil in a massive, living graveyard. When a drastic turn of events throws a monkey wrench into their everyday humdrum existence, the hermit's young ward must find it within himself to brave a harrowing and deadly quest.

The final story features a group of survivors fleeing a doomed city during a hellish apocalypse. Seeking refuge in a fortified but abandoned building, the five unlikely comrades soon realize that their new shelter has a mind of its own and it doesn't take kindly to intruders.

WALTER'S DAYS

Written by Nathan Ludwig & Charles Devin Hill

Short Screenplay / 11 pgs. / Comedy, Horror, Sci-Fi

A young man wakes in a field every morning only to repeat the same day over and over again as he's brutally murdered in increasingly elaborate and ridiculous ways.

Walter's Days is our take on the Groundhog Day mold with a comedic horror twist. It keeps you guessing and laughing at the same time and it's just something we know we would enjoy if it were a produced film.
